The top seeds were in cruise control in round 2 of the Calderdale Individual Championship back in December. Tonight round 3 will be played at the Trades Club. The round 2 report and games have just been published over on the Yorkshire Chess website

Club Night
Any one over the age of 16 and of any level of playing ability is welcome to join us for a game. Chess club meets from 19.30pm on Monday nights at The Trades Club on Holme Street in Hebden Bridge.

Juniors
We are delighted to announce that we have recently been able to support the inception of a new a junior chess club in Hebden Bridge. Meetings will take place at Hebden Bridge Town Hall on Tuesday afternoons between 16:00 and 17:30. Please email us at hebdenbridgechessclub@gmail.com for more information.

League Chess
If it's competitive chess you're after then you've come to the right place! We currently have four teams participating in the Calderdale Chess League. Our 'A' team were League 1 Champions in 2021-22 and in 2018-19. We also have threee teams taking part in the 4 Nations Chess League Online competition and our first team won the Division 3 title in season 6 and season 5, and the Division 5 title in season 4.
